Where Orlando Learnsto wing foil
The newest and fastest-growing wind sport in the world, on a calm lake 14 minutes from downtown Orlando. All gear included.
The closest thing to flying.
Wing foiling is the newest and fastest-growing wind sport in the world. You hold a handheld inflatable wing, ride a board with a hydrofoil underneath, and once you carry enough speed the board lifts and you glide above the surface.
When the foil lifts, the drag of the water disappears. The ride turns quiet, smooth, and weightless, like gliding on a magic carpet. It is a real full-body workout, and a rare way to clear your mind while you refine your craft and your own style of flying.
The sport is still young, so there is room to find your own way and be part of the evolution of it. Lake Fairview's calm, flat water and reliable wind make it an ideal place to start.

From a 1906 invention to modern, futuristic personal flight over water.
Hydrofoils, the submerged wings that lift a craft above the water, were invented more than a century ago: the first was built in 1906. For decades they were used behind boats and in tow-in riding, and by the early 2000s watermen were putting foils under surfboards.
Then in the late 2010s, a handheld inflatable wing brought it all together into the sport we ride today. You are learning something with a long history, on water that is perfect for it.
Structured, from your first session.
Aquavela teaches wing foiling as a structured course: three sessions that build on each other, with land theory before every water session, so you always know what you are working on and what comes next.
Everything is included, the water is calm and close to town, and when the course ends the Lake Fairview wing foil community keeps you riding.

“Jorge is a great windsurfing instructor! He explained complicated topics in a manner that is easy to understand. He also demonstrated concepts both on land and on the water, which was super helpful for learning. Definitely recommend taking a lesson with Aquavela!”
“Great location on a flat water lake in Orlando. First lesson with Jorge and I got to standing up on the SUP with the wing! His system of sailing along side you allowed for easy communications while on the water. Safe and convenient place to learn.”

Do I need any board sport or surf experience?
Not required. Most students start as complete beginners. Some balance experience on a board helps: if you've paddleboarded, surfed, or skateboarded, that's more than enough.
