Windsurfing is sailing at its simplest: a board, a sail, and the wind. The sport was born in the 1960s, when surfers and sailors figured out how to put a sail on a surfboard, and it grew from there into a worldwide passion and an Olympic sport. It has been pulling people onto the water ever since.
You power up the sail and you start moving, feeling the force of the wind. The moment hypnotizes you: the sensation of power, the speed, the colors. Everything becomes an exhilarating experience. It's magic.
Your first lesson is built to get you to that feeling safely: calm, flat water, modern stable gear, and step-by-step instruction. No experience needed.

Windsurfing does not stop at the basics. Intermediate and advanced lessons are available as you progress:

One-on-one instruction. Full equipment. On-water coaching for the entire session. You move at your pace, no group to keep up with.
Best for: First-timers who want a faster learning curve. Returning students working on specific skills.

Aquavela teaches with its own step-by-step system: land drills first, then the water, with each skill building on the last. You always know what you are working on and what comes next.
Every session follows that same method, taught one-on-one or in small groups, with modern gear and on-water safety built in, so you can focus on the part that matters: the wind, the water, and your first rides.

Do I need any experience?
None. Most students arrive having never been on a sailboard. Sessions start from zero: rigging, balance, steering, everything is covered.
